DRAGADOS has built dams of different types and materials. Vibrated concrete dams with projects of the following types: Gravity, Buttress, Arch Gravity and Double Arch; in the case of Roller-Compacted Concrete dams (RCC) we have examples in Gravity RCC and Arch Gravity RCC; and, in the case of Embankment dams we have experience in homogeneous dams, in Earthfill and Rockfill dams, in Asphalt- Faced Earthfill/Rockfill dams and Concrete- Faced Earthfill/Rockfill dams.

DRAGADOS also has extensive experience in the construction of hydroelectric power plants, in addition to thermal and nuclear power plants, pumping stations, irrigation ponds and storm water tanks. It has built hundreds of kilometers of waterways including water tunnels and aqueducts, irrigation and water supply networks, sewage, cooling for power stations and pipelines.

We have also taken part in projects of Environmental improvement to watercourses and renovation of rivers in urban areas.

British Columbia Hydro awarded a joint venture, of which Dragados was a part, the refurbishment project for the Ruskin Dam and Hydroelectric Station, located in Mission, British Columbia, 64 km from Vancouver.

Portugues Dam - Puerto Rico, USA
