The CA KU A1 platform, located in the Campeche oil field in the Gulf of Mexico, is an offshore gas compression facility with a processing capacity exceeding 450 MMscfd, developed to optimise natural gas production and handling within the field.

The facility consists of a 23,900 tonne platform equipped with four turbo compressors and three Solar gas turbines, operating with suction pressures ranging from 8 to 14 kg/cm² and discharge pressures between 60 and 82 kg/cm².

The system is designed to separate and compress sour gas streams with varying nitrogen content, allowing the gas to be used for pneumatic gas lift operations in production wells. This solution enhances the operational efficiency of hydrocarbon extraction and processing facilities.

In addition to strengthening field production capacity, the project supports improved utilisation of associated gas and helps reduce emissions linked to gas management, contributing to a more efficient offshore energy operation.
